We are recruiting for our client an IT Desktop Support in Geneva.

  • The IT Desktop Support will be located in Geneva and will be responsible for: 
    • Providing day to day 1st & 2nd level support for both hardware and software related to End User Computing (including Desktop, telephony land and mobile, and printers) 
    • Support and answer user’s questions in Geneva. Also support and interact in an international IT team. 
    • Install, configure, maintain and support workstations hardware and software (Operating system and applications such as Windows 10, Office 2019, Home-made applications, Bloomberg, Reuters Eikon) 
    • Manage, create Exchange mailing list & mailbox, AD account, folder permissions 
    • Manage stock, ordering and suppliers contact 
    • Follow and maintain applications deployment via SCCM 
    • Assisting in the setup of meeting presentations and Videoconferencing calls
    • Document standards and follow procedures
    • Will be required to work beyond normal business hours and be on call 

Profil recherché

  • With a IT specialized degree and preferably at least 5 years’ experience as helpdesk or similar position, you'll bring
    • Very strong technical and troubleshooting skills on Microsoft environment (Workstation Windows OS and Office suite) 
    • Good knowledge on SCCM software deployment
    • Knowledge of telephone systems (VoIP, MDM)
    • Knowledge of Citrix and GPO an advantage
    • Previous experience working with a commodities and/or trading industry, an advantage 
    • An understanding of trading applications and business trading, a very good advantage
